Many people seem to have that assumption that things like Chinese food and other things like this are the same across all cities in the UK but you are actually very wrong in thinking like this and this is because each city in the UK will have a different take on the takeaway and each city enjoys their takeaway in a slightly different way which is good.

 

Examples

If you don’t believe me try coming down to the south of England where I am from and walking into a fish and chip shop and asking for mushy peas and gravy. it is not working in the same way down here. However if you went to  Newcastle takeaways and did the same then you would be welcomed with open arms and given as many mush peas and as much gravy as you could possibly want!

 

This is what I am talking about and you are going to find that even a city just twenty minutes away from you will have a slightly different take on the way that they see the takeaway and where does this idea come from?

 

Culture

This is done in the very same away that every state in the USA has their own dish and the UK is very similar to this but even smaller because of the cities, it can be put down to many things. One of these things could be the people living in the area, where they come from and want they are into and the average age of the population comes into it too.

 

Why It Is Great

It spices things up a bit because if you were to ask for pizza delivery Nottingham then you are actually far more likely to receive something different than if you ordered from London.

 

Food is a wonderful thing and even in a small country like England there are so many differences from city to city.
