Look After Your Eyesight With A Healthy Diet

Try and make a habit of adding extra vegetables or fruit to your meals. If you would normally have one piece of vegetable with a meal, add a second or third and you’ll have made you meal healthier with no real added effort.
In a similar way, you can add fruit to your usual savoury meals. Curry is a good example, which goes extremely well with raisins, sultanas or even banana.
You can also add healthier elements to what you would normally consider a ‘vice’. Let’s say you’re having ice cream for example, you could add strawberries or rasberries. If you’ve got custard, add some banana. The same can be done with drinks, if you’re having a glass of coke for example, try a squeeze of lemon to add that extra healthy element.
You can also learn to make very simple dishes that are extremely healthy. Soup is the best example of this i can think of, as it is not only very simple to make but can also contain a huge amount of vegetables. If you can make your own soups twice a week, you’ll be drastically improving your weekly vegetable intake, which could have a genuine impact on your eye health.
