If it seems like we’ve been on a green tea binge lately, you’re right about that healthy habit. I am so very excited about all the positive research about the benefits of green tea. More exciting news comes out everyday. However, don’t stop your research with my article. Because I’m no “expert” in the field, just a beauty goddess who does her research. (You probably didn’t know that there was actually my official title, did you?) Instead, you can look at the information I gathered available everywhere:

2001 International Journal of Cancer
Green tea is well known for helping prevent many different chronic diseases. Scientists analyzed people for this study. There were mice or fish studied with green tea. We are talking about actual people in China.

2003 International Journal of Cancer
Green tea can actually hinder the production of some type of cancer. Cancers cannot develop without angiogenesis occurring in your blood cells. Which means that the healthy habit of green tea will actually help stop cancer in its tracks.

2006 Journal of American Medical Association
Carcinogenic deaths have really decreased due in part to green tea. Its been reported that people who drink more green tea tend to have much lower death rates due to cancer. In short, green tea appeared to help them avoid or recover from cancer more effectively.

2009 American Journal of Epidemiology
Blood and lymph cancers can be held at bay by green tea. The probability of you developing any of these cancers will be cut in half if you drink at least 5 cups of green tea a day.

Just imagine, those are just four out of thousands….

As you can see, green tea is one of the healthiest habits you can have. If not already a habit, start drinking green tea now and make it a habit. It’s also so much better for you than trying to start biting your nails or messing with your hair. Some people like to brew their own tea while others take it as a supplement. Doesn’t taste good? Try the capsule. Your will live longer and healthier by indulging in this healthiest of habits.
